Dead End
Directive

Go in. Meet the quota. Come back — if the route still exists.

A co-op extraction horror game. The facility is rebuilt every shift, and nothing down there is charted until somebody walks it.

01 — Briefing

The Directive

Somewhere below the surface a facility is still running. Nobody has been told what it was built for, and nobody has been told why it is still drawing power. The contract does not change: descend, recover what the quota lists, and be at the airlock before the shift ends.

The layout will not be the one your crew memorised last night. Neither will what is already down there waiting on the shift change.

You have a headlamp, a radio, a wrist unit and each other.

What we know so far

  • 01

    No two descents alike

Every contract builds a new facility — levels stacked and connected, not a single floor. Routes, rooms and dead ends are dealt fresh each shift.

  • 02

    Something learns your voice

What lives down here is not one threat with one answer. Several species, each with its own habits and its own sound. One of them has been listening to your crew.

  • 03

    Talk, or don't

Voices carry through the corridors the way they should — distance, walls and doors all take their cut. Radio channels are there for when the team splits. They are not always private.

  • 04

    Meet the quota

Nothing counts until it is back through the airlock. Light, time and what you can carry are all finite. The quota is not sympathetic about any of it.

  • 05

    The shift outlasts you

Dying takes you off your feet, not out of the run. There is still work a dead operative can do for the crew — and a way back, if someone is willing to come and get you.

  • 06

    Map it yourself

Nothing is charted until somebody walks it. Mark it on the wrist unit, paint it on the wall, and hope the rest of the crew reads it the same way you meant it.

“If the lights go, stop walking.”
